for the lack of posts this week :( no real reason other than I kind of thought I posted more. I never have tried scheduling my posts ahead of time, but I wonder if it would help me be more organized?! (as anyone who knows me can attest, that is definitely *not* my forte)
Anyway :) I have a Wplus9 card for today. I really do love all their sets that I have.
I used Mehndi Medallion for this one. Pretty simple. I used Papertrey's Smoky shadow for the base. I'm really liking using gray lately. I've yet to find a medium gray that I like though, one to match the ink I used on this card.
Well, that's it for me today. I have 3 little peeps to put to bed. (Leah is out at golf with her Daddy). Thanks so much for stopping by!! Hope you had a great weekend :)

just a simple
love card :)
I went through a phase where I barely used ribbon at all. But I find I'm back to using it again :) Just depends on my mood I guess lol.
Still keeping with the CAS style that I like best though. The stamps are from Verve. One of my very favorite Love sets for sure.
Thanks for stopping by today! Have some school to finish, and a few messes to clean up, and some nice weather to enjoy. It has been *so* warm here the last couple of days :) I {heart} spring :)

Saturday, March 3
well, it's March.
I really, really can't believe it is March already! Seriously, I have no idea where February went...
Just a quick card post tonight. Lots of bright colors. These flowers are from Verve. Not sure if you can see it well, but I impressed the whole front panel. I love the little bit of texture it adds.
Like I said, just a quick one today :) Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you are enjoying your weekend.

we had
a very full busy day today. The cousins came over, which means everyone had way too much fun and was way too wild :) Even Miss Emma was excited about Olivia coming over. Having a girl-cousin only four months younger than you must be pretty awesome :) Us mamas managed to get some chatting, hair-dying, more chatting, baking done. and we even looked at some stamping stuff heehee :)
So this card *isn't* one from today. Just a simple card I made with lots of stamps and coordinating die cuts. Nothing too fancy, just a fun little card. Stamps are from Wplus9 and Papetrey Ink.
okay--that's it for me today. Need some rest I think :) Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a super day!!

CR84FN~again
So since I really liked these colors, I actually made a few different cards with this week's CR84FN combo:
I wasn't sure how I like all of them, but I thought I would go ahead and post another one of them anyway. Hopefully I'm worst critic, right?
This is mostly lavender, with a just a pop of gray and chartreuse. I'm actually really bad at fussy cutting, but I wanted tiny butterflies, so I did the best I could lol. I stamped the flowers in lavender and then colored them in with copics. I thought it had a much softer look than when I stamped then in black. All stamps are from Papertrey.
Thanks for stopping by today! I am *so* ready for the weekend :)

how about some embossing
I've mentioned mine love/hate relationship with embossing before. So I decided to keep working at it and try to push it more towards the "love" side lol.
I do like how this card turned out. Though I did find it kind of hard to get the clear embossing to show up in pictures well. I really like these labels from Papertrey. When I first saw them, I wasn't crazy about them. But when I saw the stamps to go with them, I started really wanting them heehee. So glad I got them! Lots of pretty stamps in this set.
I like the pink and black together too. I added some baker's twine and a heart to finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by today! It's a cold, rainy day here, so I'm thinking baking and stamping sounds just about right :)

I did it :)
Yay! I actually am participating in a CR8T4FN challenge twice in a row. I loved this week's colors even more than last time's.
See, so pretty! But for some reason I actually had a harder time coming up with what I wanted to make.
In the end this is what I came up with:
I think I like it lol. I surprised myself and only used a tiny bit of the lavender, even though it was my favorite color out of the three.
The pretty butterfly is from Clear Dollar stamps--I love the matching dies. The sentiment is from Papertrey's Gracious Vases. Oh, and the background text is from Hero Arts ( use it entirely way too much lol).
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'm off to check out all the other lovely creations submitted for the challenge this time :) And then I'm going to enjoy this great weather we have here today and take my peeps out for a walk.
