I feel better. We actually made a trip to the doctor late last night, but fortunately I got some meds, and I am doing better. Pretty much took the day to rest. Glad that the kids could help out with things...guess that means they are all getting so big now :(

Haven't crafted in a few days. But I have this card I made a little bit ago. I heat embossed the flowers and the sentiment. I kind of liked how the background turned out :) All stamps are from Papertrey.

It's raining here. I don't really mind, it cools things off and all. Except that it is raining for Leah and Tomio too. They are in Nagoya for the All Japan Golf Tournament. Leah was 7th in all of Kanto, so she made it :) But it is *pouring* there :( I hope they just reschedule for tomorrow instead.

My new favorite butterflies from Hero Arts again. I just can't stop using them! The sentiment is from Beautiful  Butterflies from Papertrey. I used Hero Arts layering paper for the base again. And...yeah, that's it :)

I absolutely love this sentiment! I say it all the times to my kiddos, so it just makes me smile :)

And these are still probably my all time favorite butterflies. Although I have made a few cards with some new  butterflies I got that are super fun too, just haven't had the chance to photograph them yet.  I layered stamps for this card, starting with the lightest color and finishing with the dark brown.

I don't think I really like this card. And I almost didn't post it. But, since I never know what others seems to like, and when I send in cards to magazines, 8 times out of 10 they choose my least favorite, I thought--why not? lol  So here it is. 

I still don't love it. But I do like the idea of it, so maybe I'll try again and try to change up something.

This is from a little bit ago. One of the many butterfly cards I made with Beautiful Butterflies. Love how cheerful the bright colors are :) All the inks are my *faves*, the new Papertrey Ink inks. Really great coverage, bright pretty colors :)

I have another one layer card today. Really liking those lately.

This is one using, as have I mentioned before, possibly my all time favorite stamp set :) And I used kraft and dark brown :) It was actually really quick to make too, which is not often true about my one layer cards.

Here is the next one of those many butterfly cards I mentioned :)

Still definitely CAS, but a totally different color palette. I really love the fonts in the sentiments of this set. So pretty :) Added a little bit of twine and it was done.

Extra short and sweet today for me. We were out all day, and there are several things that need to be cleaned, straightened and/or dealt with before bed. And we are visiting Tomio's Grandma in the hospital this weekend too, so I know we will be busy then too.

I mentioned my new favorite stamp set the other day, Beautiful Butterflies. Once I started using it on some cards, I couldn't stop. Leah passed by my desk and said "whoa, that's a lot of butterfly cards" heehee :) So here is one of the many cards I made.

I love how this set just lends itself to CAS cards. I also used three colors that I hardly ever used before. But I love how cheerful the butterflies look in bright happy colors.

I'm not a fast stamper, I'm afraid to say. But, this card really just came together in a few minutes. Love when that happens :)

my new favorite.

I have a new favorite stamp set. And, big surprise :), it's a butterfly set. I know, shocking, right? heehee :) I  got Maile Belles new set called Beautiful Butterflies. I had so much fun just stamping and stamping with it.

This is one of the cards I made with it. I was really just playing around, and I liked how it looked and turned it into a card :)  I really like the big sentiment too.

Not colors I use all that often, but I think I will start more. I'm loving how cheerful they are.

Short and sweet again today :) Still getting up really early with Tomio for work, and it seems to be taking its toll. Hoping to get to bed at least a little bit early tonight.
